Dead Wood’s Beasts – Beastmen Raiders

The Beasts of the Dead Wood.

The Beasts of the Dead Wood.

It was not a long journey for them. Their nostrils opened up wide as they sensed the fresh and new odours that were in the evening’s wind, coming from the edge of the forest. With the stealthiness only true children of the woods possess, they overcame the last yards of the brake and eventually left the Dead Wood.
Gorthaur had promised them fame, honour and fresh meat. As both moons were high up in the sky and the gods’ breath could be felt in the Old World, the horde rallied and left the herd stone. For too long they had been in the shadow of others.
Those who seek glory and the Gods’ rewards have to spill blood! The lands of the hated humans was just the right place to do so. One of their huge cities was now in front of the Beastmen Raiders. Their time had come…

Kraath and Torog - Both Bestigors are right behind in the line after Gorthaur, always waiting for a chance to take the warband's leadership by brutal force.

Drol and Iblir - The Ungors are at the unfortunate last end of the warband's hierarchy. They are forced to take care of the warhounds and are often the target for the other warband's members mockery. They long for the day when they can take revenge on lousy humans for their pity lives.
