Silver Tower

whq-st

It is said there are as many tales of the Silver Tower as there are folk of the Old World with the wit to tell them. Some are stirring stories of valiant heroes who overcome evil and saw justice prevail. Others tell the tragic tale of defeat at the Gaunt Summoner’s hands. The truth is that every tale of the Silver Tower is uinque, an adventure full of terror, excitement, heroism and horror. Now, then, let us begin to tell our own…

Here I will work on my very own interpretation of the Silver Tower and not on the actual board game. I will use it just as if it would be an expansion for regular Warhammer Quest like the others before. Imagine the heroes travelling far north after they’ve learned about the dreadful Silver Tower, a labyrinth full of treasure, magic and adventures. In the Chaos Wastelands of the Old World the Gaunt Summoner awaits those who are brave enough to enter his maze.
That means I’ll come up with an own Event Card deck, several monsters, some new rules inspired by the actual board game and of course some new terrain. The quest of the Silver Tower is supposed to be really difficult, not meant for level 1 heroes. There’ll be three bosses (first the Ogre Thaumaturge, then two heralds of Tzeentch and finally the Gaunt Summoner himself). Of course all of them will need exclusive new boss rooms. I might end up making one or two new regular rooms aswell to increase the mad feel of the Silver Tower.
