Some would call them brave others say they’re fools. But in one way or another everybody will have to agree that there is something special about these individuals who face the horrors that lurk beneath, hidden from the sun and Sigmar’s grace. So here they are, the Heroes of Warhammer Quest.
Aerenial Fireleaf – The Elf by Goatmoerser
Aerenial comes from a part of Athel Loren that is known for its dark blood elm and birch trees. Since his early days he has been a maverick, mostly not enjoying the company of his brethren and sisters. So it was no huge surprise for the elders when he left his kin to travel the Old World promising to return one day. Quickly he noticed that even if full of strange wonders the Old World and his home had an important thing in common. There were countless beasts and monsters to fight and innocent beings to protect.
Alain Lemant Baron de Gravenesse Chevalier de la Dame du Lac – The Bretonnian Knight by Elrond de Gravenesse
The young Bretonnian Knight Alain left his barony in the storm-battered northwest of Lyonesse after he was granted a vision by the Lady of the Lake. He was eager to proove himself beeing worthy for the quest of the holy grail. His journey led him across Bretonnia and even over the kingdom’s borders. Always watching out for worthy enemys to fight and holy relics to retrieve to the chapels of the Lady of the Lake. For this task he joined a colourful party of adventurers. Maybe Alain’s chivalry might inspire his companions one day.
Berangar Greybeard – The Wizzard by Goatmoerser
The Sorcerer Berangar, mostly just called Greybeard, is a member of the Grey Order. His often lonely travels lead him through the dangerous plains of the Old World. Sworn to the protection of the Imperium of Man he faces the darkness that tries to overwhelm mankind. The last couple of weeks one could see him attending a group of brave Heroes…
Borin Blackboar – The Dwarf by Goatmoerser
The Dwarf Borin Broknarsson also known as Borin Blackboar is a keen adventurer. His elders can be tracked back to the long-lost noble houses of Karak Varn. Since many years his family’s destiny has been to wander the Old World or better said the kingdom of Karaz Ankor. Like his forebears Borin longs for the glory of the days long past, dreaming of the time when they can take back what once was theirs. Until then the Dwarf will search for fame and glory on his own, eager to cut each Greenskin’s neck that crosses his path.
Dao Yijing – The Wizzard by Elrond de Gravenesse
Mister Dao was a member of the Cathayian ambassador’s fellowship once, thus visiting Aldorf. He was surprised to witness that these savage lands had so many secrets to offer. As a dragonwarrior of the mystic order of the Dsche-dai it was his duty to collect and protect as much wisdom as possible in the Emperor’s name. Under the alias An Akin and the secret order of the ambassador, Dao eventually started his journey to rescue the Old World’s treasures for Cathay. He joined a group of adventurers who may benefit from his wisdom as well as from his abilities to manipulate the elements.
Elm Ironfist – The Dwarf by Broncofish
Elm proudly wears his family’s signet ring, passed to him by his great great granduncle. Being the last decendant of his noble house, Elm Ironfist seeks to shed light on the disappearance of said great great granduncle Lorri Ironfist. Lorri left the seat of the Ironfist clan over a hundred winters ago, set to distinguish a plague of ratskins. Since that time Lorri and his family relic “Axe of Thain” are lost in the dungeons of the old world.
Galdoran – The Elf by Broncofish
Born in one of the old houses of Anlec, Galdoran was raised to restore his blasted home land of Nagarythe’s pride one day. Long forgotten tales of an ancient High Elf artefact called the “Eye of the Pheonix” brought him to the Old World. Searching this item on his house’s behalf lead Galdoran to the darkest places deep undergroud. Will he be the one returning the inherent artefact back to Nagarythe to change the fate of his house?
Kronar – The Barbarian by Goatmoerser
As a young boy Kronar lost his entire family in the grim tribal battles of the far North. Slave traders sold him to the South and he had to prove himself in merciless fighting pits as a gladiator. His last master, a rhich Kislevite Lord, appreciated the countless bloody victories of his favoured gladiator and finally gave him freedom. Eventually Kronar went even more southwards to the Imperium of Man in search of treasures, adventures and glory. He still had to fulfill an oath he once swore his now dead father. He had to solve the riddle of their god Chron and prove himself worthy in fight.
Ludger Van Helbeek – The Witch Hunter by Goatmoerser
Ludger Van Helbeek was born and raised in Marienburg. As an orphan he was taken care of in the temple of Sigmar. This led to a burning desire to prove himself in the eyes of his one true god. Ludger travelled the cities and villages of the Old World, getting more extreme and radical with the years passing by. He was responsible for the purging of the cursed town Hungersteg in Stirland and the execution of the evil Necromancer Wilhelm Ruprecht who he hunted through the whole region of Sylvania. From time to time Ludger can be a man of reason and enjoys to team up with other righteous adventurers to bring death to the enemies of Sigmar.
Skorri Rognison – The Troll Slayer by scrum
The tale of Skorri is long and sad. During his youth he was already forced to swear the Slayer’s oath and leave his home. Time passed by but even up to this day no enemy could fulwill Skorri’s deathwish and give him peace.
Willy Muttonchop – The Halfling Thief by Goatmoerser
From the town of Bogglewort comes the halfling Willy Muttonchop. He has left the Grand County of the Mootland to explore the Old World as he really enjoys living among the other taller denizens of the Empire. Due to certain lucky circumstances there are always interesting things to show up in his pockets. Unfortunately some of the taller folks seem to be not very polite while Willy is around for a longer amount of time. But he has a sunny disposition and doesn’t bother to move along and meet new friends. As a true son of The Moot Willy adores a good meal. Time will tell if the halfling still can keep up with his luck even in the more dangerous parts of the Old World.
